I have been working with my Profesora Mely for 6 weeks now and I have progressed so much, to my surprise. Not only is she an excellent teacher, she’s passionate, patient, enthusiastic, easy going, and fosters a practical learning environment. The mark of a great teacher is when the can pull a lesson from anything. She has amazing interpersonal skills so she can meet you where you are, while making you feel comfortable. I was so nervous when I started working with her, but now I am excited about the progress that I have made. If I had to describe her I’d say “she is half teacher and half coach.” If you are considering an online teacher for Spanish this is the one, you don’t have to look any further.
