Wonderful, patient Spanish teacher with practical and informative lessons! I took Mely’s 4-week Spanish intensive program, where I took 3 classes per week or 12 classes in total! A true intensive, where I experienced break-throughs in my intermediate Spanish fluency. Her approach is both immersive and practical. I appreciated the variety of active drills and take home assignments to further develop my fluency. At the end of the 4 weeks, I was amazed with my rapid progress in spoken fluency/comprehension of Spanish. For me, my greatest achievements were finally understanding the past tenses, learning practical uses of the subjunctive, and the purpose of the reflexive verbs. 10/10, I highly recommend Charlemos in Spanish!
This was my first live 1:1 class and Melly couldn’t of made me feel any more comfortable. She was very relatable, practical and nice. My favorite part of the class was learning about other Hispanic regions. I would definitely recommend her. Signing up was simple! I loved learning from the comfort of my home.

I’ve been studying Spanish with Mely for the last 6 months and I can’t say enough good things about her She’s bilingual which is very important to me and she’s an actual teacher so I know I’m in good hands. Her classes are challenging but in the ways I need to be challenged and I really appreciate that. Being a beginner Mely has given me the tools to be confident enough to speak Spanish in public even though I get so nervous lol. She helps me with my listening compression through songs and talking to me in spanish in our classes. She will push you past your comfort zone which is needed to learn another language.
